The first scooter I dragged home was in 1968 and it was a1955 Zundapp Bella that had two flat tires, no carb, and many scratches. My dad and I fixed it up to running order, painted it; and from then on I had a soft spot for scooters. I put about 10k miles on that scooter and learned quickly how important electrical tape, spark plugs, tools etc were. I have also had Bianchi Vespa, Yamaha, and several of the inexpensive chinese plastic scooters that have flooded the market. I currently am restoring a 1981 Honda Express. I buy broken or auction scooters cheap and make them run again. Some I restore and some I sell. I live in Indiana so if you hear about a deal near me please feel free to contact me.
